Celeste Bosana, representing the province of Misiones, earned the international title in a tourism competition held in Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. The final took place on October 30 at the Hotel Nobile de Convenciones, after a week of activities and preparation that began on October 26.

The contest gathered participants from Argentina, Paraguay, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, who competed in the Teen, Miss and Lady categories. The Lady category, in which Bosana competed, was decided between representatives from Argentina and Venezuela.

In the days leading up to the final decision, the candidates took part in interviews with the judges, rehearsals for the final night, tourist tours and official photo sessions. The schedule started in the early morning and extended into the evening.

Among the activities were swimsuit presentations and a special session featuring pink attire, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The result was significant for the Argentine delegation, as it was the first time the country presented a candidate in the Lady category and won it.
