Thematic environmental enrichment in the aviaries and live streaming
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, Parque das Aves in Foz do Iguaçu will carry out themed environmental enrichment activities in the aviaries. Those not on site can follow part of the activities through social-media content and a live broadcast.
The park prepared stuffed pumpkins, decorative elements and structures that stimulate exploration and foraging by the animals. Each proposal is evaluated by technicians to ensure it is suitable for the animal that will receive it.
Giulia Jacomo, Animal Welfare Manager at Parque das Aves, said the date serves to show the public the routine of animal care, emphasizing that the main goal remains providing positive experiences for the animals.
Environmental enrichment is part of the park’s daily management routine and is not limited to holiday dates, taking into account nutrition, behavior and individual characteristics of the animals.
