Itaipu Parquetec ranks among Brazil's 80 best IT companies

The Great Place to Work (GPTW) ranking evaluated technology organizations based on employee perception, considering criteria such as credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. Itaipu Parquetec, which brings together universities, science and technology institutes, laboratories, startups, and companies, secured the 69th position in the medium-sized company category (100 to 999 employees) during the awards ceremony in São Paulo.

In September, the company had already reached 32nd place among the 90 best medium-sized companies in Paraná, 11 spots higher than the 2025 result, marking the third consecutive year in the state ranking.

Recent measures include reducing the workweek to 40 hours, effective September 20, and implementing a new Job and Salary Plan with clearer criteria for professional progression. In recent years, more than 500 trainings have been conducted and affirmative vacancies have been opened for people with disabilities and for women, who now represent 52.5% of the overall workforce and 54% of leadership positions.

Administrative-financial director Clerione Herther highlighted that the result reflects internal team assessments and guides people-management decisions. Developer Mayara Spieker Carvalho, with just over two years at the company, and operations coordinator Christian Carvalho, who has been at the Applied Technologies Center since 2017, confirm their satisfaction with the work environment.
