The Foz do Iguaçu International Bus Terminal handled 73,100 travelers in September 2026, according to the flow panel from the Municipal Tourism Secretariat of Foz (SMTU) captured by Guia 3. Movement means the sum of boardings (passengers leaving Foz) and alightings (passengers arriving in Foz) at the terminal.

Compared to September 2025, when 78,959 travelers were recorded, the movement fell 7.4%. This variation may reflect changes in demand for bus trips between the Triple Frontier cities, such as Foz, Puerto Iguazú (Argentina), and Ciudad del Este (Paraguay), or adjustments in intermunicipal line schedules.

For those traveling by bus, the number indicates that the terminal still receives a considerable flow of passengers, but with lower concentration than the previous year. This could mean slightly shorter lines at ticket counters and information desks, yet checking schedules and seat availability remains essential, especially during peak season or holidays.

• If you plan to take a bus from Foz to Puerto Iguazú or Ciudad del Este, expect a less crowded terminal than in 2025, but still with good traffic.
