The program, led by the Directorate of Promotion, Marketing and Events of Tourism (DIME), aims to help professionals position themselves better online. The goal is to increase the visibility of their services and facilitate connections with potential clients.

The activities began on August 31 and had new sessions on October 14 and 26. A fourth meeting is planned, but the date has not yet been set.

The workshop content combines theory and practice. Participants learn to define their value proposition, identify target audiences, and organize service channels. The curriculum includes using social media, strategies to appear in Google searches, and mobile content production techniques such as photography and video.

According to municipal tourism secretary Petterson Gherlandi, the initiative seeks to qualify guides so they can highlight their differentiators and reach new audiences. The manager notes that guides are on the front line of tourism and closely understand visitors' perceptions. This proximity allows SMTU to hear sector demands and contribute to destination planning.
