EPR Iguaçu forecasts 20% more traffic on All Souls' Day holiday

EPR Iguaçu warns that during the holiday, traffic will be heavier during the following periods: Friday (10/30) from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday (10/31) from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., and Monday (11/2) from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. When possible, drivers should choose times outside these peaks.

In case of rain, the recommendation is to reduce speed, increase the distance between vehicles, and heighten attention, especially on sections with low visibility or wet pavement. Before departing, it is important to check traffic conditions, construction schedules, and follow updates on the concessionaire’s official channels (Instagram, X and WhatsApp).

To improve flow, EPR Iguaçu will reinforce operational teams along the concessioned stretch and provide extra support at toll plazas, offering a “fast-lane” service to expedite payment. In emergencies, users can call 0800 277 0163 or use the company’s WhatsApp, which operates 24 hours a day.

These guidelines are part of the Conviver Program, the concessionaire’s road-safety initiative, and the Move Away campaign. Both emphasize the need to reduce speed and, when safe, change lanes upon spotting police vehicles, inspection teams, or workers near the roadway, helping protect those professionals.
