Puerto Iguazú's Supersanitos Wins Gold Stevie in Paris

The Supersanitos program operates in the 1° de Mayo neighborhood’s Educational Park in Puerto Iguazú, serving the 1,500 students of the school, according to the Voz de Cataratas newspaper. The annual initiative brings together public and private health professionals to provide pediatric, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, speech therapy, vaccination control, nutrition, music therapy, and workshops on adolescence, sexual health, and bullying prevention.

The 2026 edition, the program’s eighth, ran from June 24 to 26. Foundation director María Taratuty notes that detected cases receive individualized follow-up and that the school’s overall health profile is compared year over year. A satellite oral health campaign, Dentes Supersanitos, is in its sixth edition.

The trophy was received in Paris by Foundation president Teddy Taratuty, director María Taratuty, medical coordinator Guillermo Goldfarb, and team members Florencia Peña and Juan Cassina, as reported in the Moodie Davitt Report.

The Grupo London Supply Foundation, established in October 2008 as part of the London Supply Group’s corporate social responsibility program, also operates the Duty Free Shop Puerto Iguazú near the foot of the Tancredo Neves Bridge, which connects the city to Foz do Iguaçu. Prior to the Stevie, the program had already received the 2025 Awareness Award and distinctions at the RSC Awards.
